When:
Monthly opportunities to serve while making a difference in our community. This is an entry level way for people in our church to serve outside the walls. We will be serving a wide array of organizations helping to be the hands and feet of Christ. Each month wewill focus on three areas of servicing.
How we serve:
The first area will be serving as a family. It does not matter if you’re in a stroller or a walker, there will be serving opportunities for you. We encourage you to serve as a family. Some examples include nursing homes, hospital wards, and neighborhood handouts.
The second way will be serving our local community. We serve the community through random acts of kindness to show God’s love, no strings attached through cleaning toilets at local businesses, raking leaves, and gas buy-downs.
The third way is serving outside of our typical comfort zone. Through these opportunities of serving we go into different parts of the great Columbus area offering a hand-up not a hand-out at Faith Mission, YWCA Family Center, and Lower Lights Christian Healthcare Center.
