Why?

Our purpose for having Outreach & Involvement ministries at Lifepoint.

“The Church of the Nazarene believes that Jesus commanded His disciples to have a special relationship to the poor of this world. Holiness, far from distancing believers from the desperate economic needs of people in our world, motivates us to place our means in the service of alleviating such need and to adjust our wants in accordance with the needs of others.” Nazarene Manual 903.4

Our Outreach & Involvement ministry here at Lifepoint is about creating opportunities for people to be the hands and feet of Christ. We continue to foster the attitude of “whenever, whatever” – whenever the opportunity arises… we want to be available

On top of all of those church-wide serving opportunities, we also have many other serving opportunities individuals can participate in.

  • One of the most convenient ways to serve is within Lifepoint. Learn More

Missions

We look to cross geographical, cultural, or linguistic boundaries to bring the gospel to those who have not heard about Jesus – weather it is reaching out to the local international community in Central Ohio or traveling to an unreached corners of the globe (Matthew 28: 19-20).

  • Short-term mission trips
  • Disaster Relief
  • Micro-lending

Kairos Prison ministry

To bring the love of Jesus and the truth of God’s word to men incarcerated at Pickaway Correctional Institution. We participate in a bi-annual “retreat” weekend along with weekly pray & share groups that meet inside the prison.
