What is Club 56?
This ministry focuses on 5th and 6th graders and helps them to navigate that critical transitional age from elementary school to junior high. There are specific events, opportunities, and teachings for this age group. They meet weekly on Sunday, nights from 5:30-7 p.m. at the church.
With the new year ahead of us, we’re really looking forward to what God has planned for this ministry! You can always expect an action packed Sunday night with fun games, meaningful lesson, and even ministry training to serve others.
This year we will be focusing on developing our understanding of God’s word, His promises, and a lot of His stories while we actively look for a way to share it with others! The Students of Club 56 will have a monthly opportunity to serve the younger students at Kidspoint Sunday morning services by leading worship songs, puppet shows, and even leading group discussion questions (always the last Saturday / Sunday of the month).
So as we learn and discuss God’s word and His stories on Sunday nights during Club 56, we’ll be doing it with the purpose of sharing it with others not only just at Lifepoint, but Club 56 is planning a summer work & witness trip that we will be leading a Vacation Bible School at another location.
Becoming active in our learning of God’s word, and active in our discussing the
significant of His promises for us will be one of our main goals of ministry this year.
